About
Josephine Hansom
I'm Josephine Hansom - researcher, storyteller, and an expert voice on the next generation.
I've spent over 25 years studying young people: how they think, what they value, how they make decisions, and what they want from the brands, employers and institutions in their lives. My focus is on the journey into adulthood - the teens and twenty-somethings navigating education, careers, identity and independence.
I began my career as a researcher and built two of the UK's leading youth insight practices - first as Managing Director of YouthSight Research, then as Senior Vice President at Savanta Group. I have a deep understanding not just of what young people think, but of how organisations need to hear it.
Now I work directly with brands, universities, charities and organisations who want to understand the next generation and act on what they find. I research. I write. I speak. And I help organisations develop the kind of clear, evidence-based point of view that gets noticed.
I'm a Fellow of the Market Research Society, and I've spoken at over 100 events, from international conferences to strategy away-days, and including the House of Lords.
